On December 23, the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued the "2025 National Social Organization Assessment Rating Announcement" (Announcement No. 585 of the Ministry of Civil Affairs). After preliminary evaluation, final assessment by the National Social Organization Assessment Committee, and public notice, CNMA was rated as a 4A-level national social organization, marking a new milestone in the association's comprehensive development.
The tiered assessment of social organizations is a crucial initiative in China to strengthen the standardized management of social organizations. It serves as a comprehensive evaluation of an association's operational capabilities, industry service levels, and social influence, as well as a thorough examination of its daily management, orderly operation, and the effectiveness of its business activities. The results hold significant exemplary value for the industry and carry substantial social recognition.
As a national-level industry association, CNMA adheres to the Communist Party of China's leadership, focuses on Party-building empowerment, and upholds the mission of "promoting responsible self-medication and enhancing public health." For over three decades, CNMA has been deeply engaged in the OTC and health sectors. Centered on the core work themes of "regulations, brands, innovation, and public education," CNMA builds an efficient communication bridge between government, enterprises, and the public, driving compliant industry development, quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, international exchanges, and public medication safety. This evaluation covers multiple dimensions, including Party-building efforts, internal governance, service effectiveness, and social impact, representing high recognition of CNMA's institutionalized achievements and contributions to the industry.
In the future, CNMA will take this opportunity of being rated as a 4A-level national social organization to continuously improve its service system, strengthen its industry-leading role, and contribute to the high-quality development of China's self-care and health industry.
